IN VIENNA A CEREMONY IN HONOR OF THE EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY

 A HONORABLE DOCTORATE TO AMBASSADOR JIRŽI GRUŠA

 At the ceremony in hotel «Imperijal» director of the Diplomatic Academy held a innovative speech

To the director of Vienna's diplomatic academy Mr. Jirzi Grusa, the European University presented an honorable doctorate. In function with the "Science and diplomacy in peace functions" The senate and the rector of the European University, prof. dr Milija Zecevic, decided on giving the honorable doctorate to the ambassador Dr Jirzi Grusa, which is also the director of the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna. The ceremony was held at the Hotel "Imperial" on Tuesday evening.

At the ceremony for academic and full time members of the European Academy of Science, the following also attended; prof. dr Alfonso Roldan More, presidentk «Albert Švajcer» university, president of the London Diplomatic Academy and prof. dr Milija Zečević, rector of the European University.

This manifestation, according to all the present at the time, was at high standards in function towards Serbia. Prof. dr Zečević pointed out that SCG highly welcomes all banks and companies from Austria, was well as any other country in Europe.

Next to agriculture, its important to point out the cooperation in areas of tourism, science and culture. It has been agreed to continue joint progress towards this goal. Study programs for students will be provided in our country as well as Vienna; whether that be students from our country or Austria - stated prof. dr. Zecevic.

In addition, the European University has seven colleges in Belgrade and is organizing master studies, has 15 members, colleges from the US and Europe, and more than 20 partners, institutions and universities of Europe and the US.  

The strategic projects are euro Atlantic integrations, science, diplomacy and education in peace functions, as well as membership of eastern Europe into the European Union.
